I founded Great Rates Travel Service 17 years ago because I couldn't think of
anything I would rather do! I'm thrilled to say that through repeat and referral
business, we've grown so much I had to train a small team of great travel consultants
to join me in providing great customer service for our valued clientelle! ...

I have so enjoyed my travels to nearly every continent, and more countries than I can
count. I stay up to date on the latest and greatest vacation destinations and tour
opportunities by sampling a different destination nearly every month! And I hope you

My Background...I have 17 years experience booking great cruise, resort, and tour
vacations, and 35 years as a business owner and manager, as well as an extensive sales
and public relations background...I have owned and managed two other successful
businesses...a large pet store in New Mexico, and a successful entertainment magazine in
Texas. I also worked for the Red Cross for five years, and have sponsored fundraisers that
raised thousands of dollars for charities like the American Heart Association, Muscular
Dystrophy Assn, Humane Society, American Cancer Society, and Elf Louise!

I am assisted by my brilliant husband, Joe DeWeese, who is a disabled veteran with a
photographic memory...Joe does travel research and provides guidance to our agents and
customers. Married 29 years now, we are "travel junkies" at heart, and started Great Rates
Travel to help others discover the exciting world of travel, including value-packed cruises,
all-inclusive luxury resort vacations, and fun-packed guided tours! We are proud to be able
