There's just so much to do on a cruise ship--for those wishing to be active, or relax!  You can join in a game of cards, table
tennis, shuffleboard, mini-golf, tennis or volleyball; or if you're up for it, try out the ropes course, slide down a two-story
waterslide, or climb a rock wall!  Then stretch out on deck underneath the warm sun with a good book from the ship's library or
catch up on the news from home at the Internet Cafe. Enjoy a first-run movie at the ship's Seaside Theatre or on your in-room
television!  Sip tropical drinks and lounge on a deck chair with new friends, browse through the duty free shops, or dance the
night away at one of the many themed clubs.  It's
your vacation!

If you like to stay busy, there's live entertainment practically around the clock on a cruise ship, but the nightly feature
shows are nothing short of spectacular!...Fabulous Las Vegas Reviews, Broadway musicals, amazing Magicians and hilarious
top-rate Comedians!  

And you'll dine like royalty while on board, with fabulous 5-course meals in the main dining room, inspired by some of the
world's top chefs, and buffet feasts suitable for a King available when you're ready for another bite.

Whatever you fancy, there's always plenty to do on a cruise ship!  And practically everything is included with your cruise
purchase!  

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

--- What type of clothing should I wear?

Casual attire is the order of the day. We suggest shorts, sundresses, tank tops, etc. for the ladies, and for men; shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc. will
do.  We suggest you wear rubber-soled, low heeled or flat shoes for extra traction while onboard.  For dining you may want to dress up a bit and/or
bring along a light sports jacket or cardigan.

Most evenings there is a
"Cruise Casual" dress code, but there are also Cruise Elegant evenings ("Formal Nights") one or two nights during your
“Fun Ship” voyage, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your more elegant attire. For those who want casual attire for dinner time, the
Lido Restaurant and buffet is open nightly, and has a more relaxed theme. However, shirts and shoes/footwear (flip-flops) must be worn at all times
inside the Lido Restaurant.

Both dress codes for the main dining rooms are described below:

Cruise Casual Dining Dress Code:  Gentlemen - Sport slacks, khakis, jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long), collared sport shirts; and Ladies -
Casual dresses, casual skirts or pants and blouses, summer dresses, Capri pants, dress shorts, jeans (no cut-offs).
 Please no shorts, gym shorts,
basketball shorts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men and baseball hats.

Formal Night Dining Dress Code:  Gentlemen - Dress slacks, dress shirts. We also suggest a sport coat. If you wish to wear suits and ties or
tuxedos, by all means we invite you to do so.  
Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; if you‘d like to show off your evening
gowns, that's great too!  There will be many professional photographers and settings available on formal night, to capture this unforgettable night!

While in port:  Appropriate attire will depend on the climate. Given the warm climate and the more rustic conditions in the Caribbean and Central
America,
we strongly suggest that you wear light, casual clothing and comfortable, low-heeled walking shoes or sneakers. (It's typically 80's in the
Caribbean year round!)  For any brief tropical showers you may encounter, you might want to bring a fold-up umbrella and a light jacket. For water-
related shore excursions,  we suggest you wear your bathing suit, cover-up and hat.  Also, remember to bring sunscreen, a towel and a camera; and
to leave your valuables onboard, in your staterooms.

For Canada/New England/Alaska cruises:  Sweaters, lightweight jackets and raincoats are suggested.  Casual clothes that can be layered easily
are highly recommended.  Bring a heavier sweater if you are traveling to the glaciers, along with a raincoat and umbrella, because it is often cold and
windy in such areas.
For South America and Europe cruises: Comfortable shoes and a just-in-case raincoat. Bring a sweater if you are traveling to the glaciers, along
with a raincoat and umbrella, because it is often cold and windy in such areas. Special note: It is essential that you wear the proper apparel when
visiting the Vatican and other religious sites (no bare legs or shoulders).

--- Are there any restrictions on what you can bring on board?

In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, certain items are prohibited onboard and will be confiscated, including:

Alcohol (Except that guests over 21 are permitted one bottle of sealed wine or champagne (750 ml. size), when carried on at embarkation time
only.  (A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room)
• Clothing irons and steamers (all Carnival ships offer laundry facilities with irons and ironing boards. Fleet-wide valet laundry service is also
available for a nominal fee.)
• Electrical and household appliances (i.e. coffee makers, hot plates, toasters, etc.)
• Candles
• Weapons
• Heating Pads
• Incense or candles
Large Coolers (Small, personal-sized coolers no larger than 12” x 12” x 12” are permitted for the purpose of housing small quantities of
non-alcoholic beverages and/or medications but must be carried on.
• DVDs/VCRs/Nintendo/Play Units:  Due to compatibility issues with stateroom televisions, these items can typically only be utilized in suites and
guests must provide their own RCA cables.

On embarkation day,
guests may bring a small quantity (package of 12 per person) of non-alcoholic soda or other beverages onboard, only in
their carry-on luggage.

While
there are no preset luggage limits, guests are encouraged to limit their checked luggage to two suitcases per person, with each suitcase
weighing less than 50 pounds and no larger than 16"H x 24"W (no length restrictions).  In most ports, guests have the option of carrying luggage on
board at embarkation and off the ship at the end of the cruise as long as it does not exceed 16"H x 24"W (no length restrictions).  This is an
advantage you may want to consider as it will allow for quicker easier access to your bags.  Alternatively, curbside porters are available at the pier to
take luggage to the vessel for delivery to your stateroom by shipboard personnel.
Customary tip is $1 per bag. Please be sure each piece of luggage
is unlocked and has a tag listing your name and stateroom number.

--- Can I use my cell phone on the ship?
Yes, in the Carnival fleet cell phone service is available on all ships. While your ship is at sea, the cellular system is activated and you can make and
receive calls, send and receive text messages, as well as view emails and browse the Internet with over 300 carriers worldwide. International
roaming rates apply and are set and billed by your home carrier. Charges will appear on your regular cell phone bill. Please contact your carrier
before your cruise to check rates for each service and ensure your plan allows you to roam. In addition, for a limited time AT&T customers can buy a

--- Are passports required?
Carnival requires guests to provide proper travel documentation in order to travel. A passport is NOT required for U.S. citizens taking
cruises that begin & end in the
same U.S. port. The passport requirement also does NOT apply to U.S. citizens traveling to or returning
directly from a U.S. territory.
 (Non-U.S Citizens must contact the appropriate Consulates, U.S. Embassy and U.S. Immigration office to inquire
about necessary travel documentation.) Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of Immigration requirements.

Though not required, It is recommended that all guests travel with a valid passport during their cruise. This will enable guests to fly from the U.S.
to meet their ship at the first port should they miss their scheduled embarkation and allow guests that must disembark the ship before their cruise
ends due to an emergency to fly back to the U.S without significant delays and complications. It is also recommended that all guests travel with a
passport valid for at least 6 months beyond completion of travel.  (

 Callers should mention that they are sailing on Carnival to receive discounted
service fees.)  Travelling with a passport enhances your disembarkation experience, as delays may be expected upon your return to the U.S. if you do
not have one.  

The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) allows U.S. citizens (including children) sailing on cruises that begin and end in the same
U.S. port to
travel with one of the following WHTI compliant documents:
  • Valid U.S. Passport
  • Passport Card
  • Original or suitable quality copy of a Birth Certificate, Issued by the department of vital statistics.  (Baptismal and Hospital Certificates,
    copies of U.S. Passports and Naturalization papers, are NOT acceptable.)
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Trusted Traveler Program Membership Card,  e.g., Nexus Card, Sentri Card or Fast Card
  • Enhanced Tribal Card
  • A Consular Report of Birth Abroad
  • Enhanced Driver's License (EDL) (EDLs cannot be used to travel by air outside the United States.)

If you are not travelling with a passport, a government-issued photo ID is also required for all guests, including children 16 and over.  For a

When traveling with a minor and both parents/legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original, signed letter from the
absent parent/legal guardian authorizing the minor to travel with you. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security. Please
note that a notarized letter to this effect may be required if debarking with children in Mexico.

Sailings from Canada or to Canadian Ports of Call: U.S. Citizens require a valid passport or WHTI compliant documents.
Europe, Hawaii and Transatlantic Cruises: U.S. citizens must have a valid passport.
U.S. Alien Residents and Non-U.S. Citizens: U.S. Alien Residents require a valid Alien Resident Card and/or passport (depending on itinerary) to
travel on all Carnival cruises.  Non-U.S. citizens require a valid machine readable passport and a valid, unexpired U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa, if
applicable, to travel on all Carnival cruises.  Guests are advised to check with their travel agent or appropriate government authority to determine the
necessary documents, including a Schengen/ or Croatian Visa necessary for European cruises.  On occasion, non-U.S. citizens and U.S. Alien
Residents may be asked to surrender their passport and/or Alien Resident Card at time of embarkation. These documents will be returned upon
completion of the Immigration inspection at the time of debarkation. Non-U.S. citizens that are eligible to apply for admission under the Visa Waiver
Pilot Program, must still have a valid unexpired passport. U.S. State Department regulations require all guests traveling from visa-waiver countries
be in possession of a machine-readable passport that includes a biometric identifier - e.g., embedded digital photograph. Otherwise, guests will be
required to obtain a U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa. Guests without proper identification may be refused boarding or entry into the United States.
AIR TRAVEL:  Passports are required for air travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Bermuda. This will
impact all guests traveling by air to embark or debark in Vancouver for our Alaska or Hawaii cruises; and our Canadian guests that travel by air to or
from any of our U.S. embarkation ports. This will also enable guests to fly from the U.S. to meet their ship at the first port should they miss their
scheduled embarkation and allow guests that must debark the ship before their cruise ends to fly back to the U.S without significant delays and
complications.  

Guest names on travel documents (passport, or birth certificate and drivers license) must be identical to those on the cruise reservation and
airline tickets. Otherwise,
proof of name change (e.g., a marriage license) or a valid driver's license (or other government-issued photo ID) must
be presented.

--- If I bring my own laptop, do I need to pay for the internet service onboard?
To keep you connected while at sea, every Carnival cruise ship provides satellite Internet access facilitated through the Internet Café and through the
ship-wide WiFi network.

Internet Café...Open 24-hours, the Internet Café features private terminals where you have the ability to surf the Web, chat online and access your
private e-mail account (Gmail, AOL, Hotmail, Juno, Yahoo, etc.)  Alternatively, personalized CruisE-mail™ is available on most vessels.  Internet Café
terminals run on Windows XP and are limited to Internet communication. The terminals are not equipped with Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, etc),
however, most files can be accessed as “read only” for viewing purposes but cannot be edited or saved.

Wireless Users – Laptops and other WiFi equipped devices...You may use your personal laptop while onboard, your iPhone and all other
WiFi equipped devices and most software installed on them without restrictions
. VPN access on the other hand is restricted to connections of the
type, which are not IPSec or PPTP connections.

Pricing...Instructions on how to create an account and pricing details are present on-screen in the Internet Café or on your laptop once you connect to
Carnival WiFi.
Internet pricing is identical, whether you are using the Internet Café terminals, your own laptop or other wireless devices. All
internet access charges will be billed directly to your onboard “Sail & Sign” Account.
Activation fee -  a one-time $3.95 charge applies to each user on their first login only.  

Time Plans offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a lower per-minute rate. These Time Plans are transferable between Internet Café terminals and
personal laptops/ wireless devices, can be used anytime throughout the cruise until debarkation and don’t have to be used in a single session.  No
refund will be awarded for unused minutes. Upgrading a pre-selected pricing option is not available and plans are subject to change.
Longer Cruises (6 days and longer):
• 250 minutes for $100.00
• 100 minutes for $55.00
• Pay As You Go: $0.75/min
Shorter Cruises (5 days and shorter):  
• 60 minutes for $24.00

Before You Go Recommendations:
Convert your E-mail settings to basic; you will have a better experience if your E-mail is less graphic intense.
